Dawn Hayes

From the back seat of a car in 1988 a two year old caught the attention of her parent's ears as she began to sing a song called, "Shattered Dreams." This was the first song she ever learned to sing. Little did her parents know that the love of music was so well enriched in their daughter that one day she would grow up to pursue a career in singing and teaching. That little girl was me. Today I spread the love and joy of music to the younger generations as a teacher. Performance has always been a love of mine, and I strive to show others around me that they are capable and can do whatever they put their minds to.
I love to sing karaoke and perform with complete strangers on a Friday night, yet I love the intimacy of singing worship on Sundays with close friends who have a joy for singing before the congregation every week in lifting up our praises to the Lord. My favorite person to sing with is my husband.
Competing is fun for me and I have won a karaoke contest in 2019, and won 1st place gold medalist for the TalentINC talent portion in February of 2020.

I have several hobbies that I enjoy. I craft, make jewelry, sell handmade items, leading students in extracurricular activities, play piano, play clarinet, play drums, participate in 5k charities, lead music in my local church, and I lead music for Celebrate Recovery.

I am happily married to my husband Waylon. We have three fur children named Toby, Luna, and Lyla. I have an appreciation for all varieties of music. Wicked is my favorite musical. I am kind, honest, ambitious, and encouraging to others.

Overall, my passion is to share music with others and to speak to the hearts of those who listen. Music is healing, and I believe it is purifying. Where we fail to come together in many areas in life, music will bring us together. That's what I want to be a part of.
Through music I teach, inspire, and unite others.
